Antique Signed German Vienna Style Porcelain Hand Painted Cabinet Plate
About the Item
A very fine antique Vienna style porcelain cabinet plate.
Entitled "Blumensprueche", which translates in English as "Flower Sayings"
Depicted in the central cartouche is an image of a young woman being attended to by a cherub/putti. The cherub stands atop a pedestal and has one outstretched hand offering a white flower to the woman, who looks rather amused by the gift.
Signed to the lower right 'H. Zatzka'.
The rim of the bowl is richly decorated with two-toned raised gold decoration and gold jeweling on a light blue to turquoise ground.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There are small spots of loss to the gold jeweling here & there and some minor rubbing to the gilding. Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
