About the Item

A Neoclassical carved yellow sienna marble inkwell. The item represents a miniature sarcophagus, the tomb of Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus, erected around 150 BC, now in the collection of the Vatican Museum. The inkwell is mounted on a brown marble base. Collectible European Grand Tour Souvenirs, Neoclassical Desk Accessories And Decor. Antique Condition. Signs of wear and age. Refer to photos.
