1900s French Metal Goblet

About the Item

This 1900s French Metal Goblet is a true embodiment of eclectic elegance, marrying the refined Art Nouveau style with a touch of whimsy. Atop its solid circular base rise four slender hooves, a nod to neoclassical motifs, which hold the chalice aloft with an unexpected grace. The body of the goblet is encircled by a frieze of classical medallions and foliage, each element detailed to capture the light and cast shadows that dance with the movement of the room. This piece, crowned by a detailed rim, exudes a sense of history and character; it is more than just a vessel—it is a conversational artifact, perfect for those who appreciate the intricate fusion of art and functionality. Whether it serves as a striking centerpiece or a decorative holder for precious items, this goblet is a testament to the artistic daring of its era.
