About the Item
Versailles (Sterling, 1888, No Monograms) by Gorham Silver.
This is an antique Gorham sterling silver master butter knife in the 1888 Versailles pattern. This beautiful art nouveau all sterling knife has a smooth blade and ornate designs on the classic Versailles handle. On the back the blade has the Gorham lion anchor G mark and sterling copyrighted. It is in very good condition, with signs of use commensurate with its age and some tarnish.
