Service à thé ou café Calico, signé Burleigh Staffordshire England à fleurs bleues. Il se compose d'une théière, un pot à lait, 8 sous tasses, 6 tasses, 2 ramequins. Le tout est en état parfait jamais utilisé.
Juste un petit manque sur une sous tasse( voir la photo) Les dimensions sont celle de la théière.
Burleigh est fait à la main.
Avec une histoire riche et complexe cette fabrique est ouverte depuis 1889.
La production Burleigh nécessite des compétences et une expérience uniques que l’on ne trouve nulle part ailleurs dans le monde.
Pour décorer la faïence on utilise par transfert de tissus des rouleaux de cuivre gravés pour donner vie au motifs d'archives emblématiques. Seuls potiers au monde à utiliser encore cette technique.
