Antique World War 2 Bruce Stapleton 'Victory Bonds' Patriotic Framed Poster
About the Item
This WW2 patriotic 'Victory Bonds' poster shows no printers signature, but the original image was done by Bruce Stapleton for the Canadian war effort in approximately 1940 in the period Art Deco style. The poster depicts three soldiers in the heat of battle in bright vivid colors with a banner at the bottom to promote the buying of Victory Bonds to support the war effort. The poster is in very good period condition and bears the block signature of Bruce Stapleton in the bottom right corner. The poster has been professionally linen backed and mounted in a contemporary frame. The dimensions posted below refer to the framed poster, and its actual dimensions are approximately seventeen and three quarter inches wide and twenty three and a half inches high.
