Unique and large, three light alabaster flush mount.
This unique Art Deco fixture from the heydays of the European Art Deco era will light up both your days and evenings. Its striking and geometrically rounded design shade with the high edge and flat bottom is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster. For this flush mount they clearly picked the ideal rock for the large shade, for it comes with the most beautiful veins and patches. Especially the more translucent, whiter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over a period of thousands of years make it extra special and a feast to look at. The stunning Art Deco shade is beautifully flat and perfectly circular and its high edge ensures that the three bulbs and sockets inside cannot be seen, no matter from what distance you look at this timeless work of beauty. This rare and large Art Deco flush mount is one of the most stylish antique alabaster lights that we have ever had the pleasure of offering and it also is in very good condition. There is a natural hairline running almost entirely around the bottom of this shade, but we have professionally reinforced it on the inside so that it, again, could not be more structurally sound. This large and relatively heavy shade is mounted via the original, nickel plated brass, Art Deco gallery. Normally this fixture is mounted by screwing a wooden plaque onto your ceiling and then the canopy is screwed onto that wooden plaque via the 6 holes that you can see in the top of the canopy. Since we cannot drill holes into our ceiling with every antique light that we sell, we have simply screwed an antique hook onto the end of the rod and mounted this flush mount that way (so only for photo shooting purposes). Speaking of shooting photos, we could again shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this stunning light fixture. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this remarkable and large size flush mount is no exception. You can again take our word for it. This slightly deeper than average flush mount makes that one cannot see the three bulbs inside the shade from further away either and both with the light on and of its timeless beauty will never go unnoticed. This three light pendant is wired for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will take three of your regular American bulbs of up to 100 watts each.

- Condition:Repaired: Some hairlines around the outside of the base of the alabaster shade have been professionally reinforced. This too is why this grand flush mount is structurally super sound. Wear consistent with age and use. Apart from some reinforced hairlines on the inside, this antique alabaster shade could hardly be in better condition.
