Pair of Mid-Century French Maison Bagues Rock Crystal and Metal Wall Sconces
About the Item
These elegant wall lights were created in France circa 1960. Attributed to Maison Bagues, each sconce with two metal arms is decorated with a rock crystal parrot perched on an urn with crystal form flowers and leaves throughout. Both fixtures have new wiring and are dressed with decorative candle sleeve covers. The tall wall sconces are in excellent condition and adorn a rich patinated bronze and glass finish. They would make a wonderful addition for a powder room, entry way or bedroom. Hanging hooks on the back for easy installation.
Since 1860, the Maison Baguès has been located in the center of Paris and specializes in the creation of luxury furniture and lighting. Early on, it became the emblem of French Savoir-Faire in wrought iron work and brass, along with French craftsmanship, which is highly valued internationally.
