Danish chamotte (texture clay) table lamp with impressed decoration by Annelise and Per Linnemann-Schmidt for Palshus, Denmark, 1960s. Palshus produced a wide range of table lamps, in different patterns, height and colors (various shades of brown, blue, green and beige). This is a medium sized model, DL/30, and the color is Dark green and blue. The lamp comes without lampshade, but with the original lampshade holder. The indicated height is excluding the lampshade holder. The chamotte pot is not included, this is added to the photo for decoration and indication of the size of the lamp.

    Beautiful Scandinavian lamp by Per et Annelise Linnemann Schmidt for Palshus, Denmark, circa 1960. Enamelled chamotte decorations with horizontal stripe, orange-brown glaze. In excellent condition. Lamp shade not included. Dimensions in cm of the ceramic body ( H x D ) : 46 x 18 Secure shipping. Per Linnemann (1912-1999) was the son of the Danish sculptor Willie Wulff. Later he took the name of his father-in-law Schmidt. Per entered the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen in 1931 and worked as a sculptor, when he was between 30 and 40 years old, as a specialist in portraits. In 1949 he opened Palhus Stenøj (the sandstone) with his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt (born Sprechler). They moved into a house to work and live in. The house was located in Sengeløse outside Copenhagen. Per designed and his wife managed the business. The articles were sold in the department store Den Permanente in Copenhagen.
