Regency Classical Giltwood Mirror, Circa:1825, England

About the Item

This Regency/William IV pier mirror is gold leaf and dark gilt on wood. It has a frieze with a basket of grapes flanked by upright acanthus leaves at the top. The mirror is embellished with classical ornament including acorns, all finely crafted by an expert craftsman. This mirror would beautifully enrich the decor in a foyer, living room, dining room, or bedroom.
