The ashtray measures H 5cm D 16cm. Archimede Seguso was born in Murano on December 17, 1909. At the age of 11 he began working in the furnace and refined his skill by making eighteenth-century glass. Just over twenty years old he becomes an excellent Master glassmaker, also distinguishing himself with the newly born processing of heavy artistic glass. 'He takes as designers in the family factory ''Seguso Vetri d'Arte'' first Vittorio Zecchin and then Flavio Poli.'
