About the Item
High quality model of the Boston built clipper ship “Great Republic” by Thomas Rosenquist of Far Rockaway, New Jersey. Highly detailed with scribed deck, cabins, skylight, lifeboats, anchors, carved figurehead, etc. Heavily rigged with standing and running cords. Hull is painted black over copper. Rosenquist was a builder in the early Twentieth Century, selling to many museums. Mounted into a custom glass display case.
