A Very Rare and Fine 19th Century Telescope by Browns of Glasgow
About the Item
A very rare 19th Century lacquered brass telescope by Browns of Glasgow. This stunning three draw brass telescope is of exceptional quality, in full working order with a spare astro lense, stamped 'J. Brown, St. Vincent St. Glasgow'. Supported on a finely hand carved, richly patinated mahogany tripod base and is stored in its original fitted box, labelled 'Jas Brown'.
