About the Item
1968 replica Lahaina Clinton Blears model surfboard. Shaped by the late Dick Brewer (1936-2022). Features very limited Brewer Lahaina plumeria flower logo which was used for a short time in 1968 when Dick Brewer’s shop was located in Lahaina, Maui. Pintail shape design with gorgeous yellow and red tinted color scheme. Wood single fin with halo. This rare surfboard represents one of just two Dick Brewer Lahaina replica surfboards ever made. The original Lahaina surfboard used as a model for the replicas was made for revered Hawaii surfer, Clinton Blears. Clinton was the brother of 1972 world champion surfer, Jimmy Blears. Hand signed ‘Dick Brewer Clinton Blears Lahaina 1968 AD’. A stunning example of a late 1960s replica Lahaina Brewer surfboard, one of only two in existence.
