Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning Vintage Geoffrey Butler Columbus SLX NEW Steel road bike with Campagnolo Chorus groupset HISTORY I am selling my entire bike collection which comprises of 16 bikes, all luxury high end pieces, there are Colnagos, Cervelo’s, Lemon’s, Specialized, with Carbon Titanium or Columbus steel frames and some of the most expensive parts in the world, there are also some frames, again Titanium and Colnago, Bianchi etc, some wheels Zipp 303’s, Campaganolo Hyperion carbons etc, and then a few parts. I also have a NOS in the case Dura Ace 25th Anniversary groupset. These are all that is left over from my bike shop, I have kept them for years hanging around my furniture workshop as pieces of art and to remember the good old days, my new warehouse doesn’t have the same hanging space so these all need to go! DESCRIPTION This bike is a GB Cycles 57.5cm road bike, its made with Columbus SLX NEW tubing, it has a full Campagnolo Chorus groupset which is very collectable and expensive on its own. The frame has various patina marks and some foxing around the edges as you can see SPECIFICATION FRAME FORKS & HEADSET:- Columbus SLX NEW steel, top tube 57.5cm C-T-C, seat post tube 57.5cm C-T-C, 59.5cm C-T-T head tube 161mm, head set Campagnolo Chorus WHEELSET:- Shimano 105 front and Campagnolo rear hubs and skewers with Mavic Open Pro rims GROUPSET:- Chainset Campagnolo Chorus 52/42 chain rings, 172.5mm crank arms, Front mech Record braze on, rear mech Chorus, Brake & Gear shifters Chorus Carbon, Brake callipers Chorus, Chorus 8 speed 13-26 cassette BARS STEM SADDLE & SEATPOST:- Handlebars 42.5cm 3TTT Ergo Power Due, Stem 130mm ITM, seatpost Campagnolo Athena, Saddle Turbo Matic CONDITION PLEASE READ All these bikes have sat unused for some time, I only ever rode the Specialized Tarmac Pro personally, all other pieces were bought solely for there collectability and rarity, each bike has been fully deep cleaned from top to bottom, they have not been serviced and have sat unused for years.
