Pair of bronze patinated cast iron bookends "End of Trail" by Pompeian Bronze Co., circa 1920s. The bookends are exact replicas of the famous "End of the Trail" statue sculpted by James Earle Fraser for the San Francisco Panama-Pacific Exposition in 1915. The statue depicts a native American Indian on horseback with lance and measure 6.5" H x 4.25" W, 4.25" D. #2744
