Midcentury American Modern Live Edge Trapezoidal Douglas Fir Bookends

About the Item

Striking sculptural douglas fir live edge bookends (circa 1970s USA). Solid 'blocks' of stained douglas fir have been sculpted into trapezoidal forms and finished to reveal soft, polished surfaces sans the exposed 'live' edges, which have been left crude. Can be used as bookends or tabletop decorative objects. Nice, vintage condition with wear, both original to the wood and from age (few indentations to the wood / minor, general wear). Larger: H 10.5" x L 7" x D 3.5" Smaller: H 10" x L 5.25" x D 3.5" Dimensions provided reflect the size of the larger bookend.
