Big Library Stairs Mid-20th Century Library Steps Ladder Carved Wood Leather
About the Item
Impressive & luxurious 1960s old classic Library steps,
the circular step ladder features four stairs rolled around a central post embellished with a decorative brass finial at the pediment.
Each step is upholstered with the original leather decorated with gold tooling motifs.
It is sturdy and in very good condition with a nice patina, with some traces of use and wear to wood and leather.
(Small piece of leather missing in the corner first step, and the leather is a bit worn, so now a blue-green patina.)
Strong enough for a grown man, see pictures.
Use this vintage staircase to organize books in your office or library, or as a decorative stool.

The support post can be dismantled to make it easy to store or put underneath.
