Mid 20th Century Balinese Carved Teak Folding Room Divider Screen
About the Item
A handcrafted Balinese four-panel room divider screen, artisan unknown. Solid teak with front side being carved out of and reverse side being carved into the teak. Twelve individual panels with intricate detail & workmanship framed together to form four separate panels, then joined with brass hinges to form the hinged screen. Decorative brass accents adorn the end panels. Crafted in Indonesia, in the mid 20th century.
Measures: 68W 7D 72.75H.
Very good vintage condition with signs of previous use. Some slight panel separation from frame, light scratches and wear, particularly to edges and bottom. Structurally sound and sturdy. Condition Rating: 8.5 / 10.0.
