1930s Navajo - Rio Grande Carpet ( 7'8" x 10'2" - 233 x 309 cm)

About the Item

This shared-warp, flat tapestry woven piece is extremely rare both for its large size and for its much abrashed rich dark blue ground highlighted by streaking white “shooting stars”. The small central red. Ivory and black diamond is tonally matched by the powerful square meander border. This is a desirable antique carpet in good condition. Measures: 7'8" x 10'2" - 233 x 310 cm
