About the Item

This Persian Bakhtiari carpet was created, circa 1900 by the workshop of master weaver Ardal, one of the foremost master weavers of his time. The coloration is unique to his collections, featuring his distinctive tones of blue, red, yellow and gold. This carpet consists of a hand-knotted handspun wool pile and natural vegetable dyes, and exhibits a combination tree of life and garden design. It is in excellent antique condition, and the size is 10'6" x 16. Orley Shabahang takes pride in selecting and curating the finest vintage and antique carpets, ensuring that the preservation of this ancient art form will endure for generations to come.
