Vintage Ghouchan Rug 3'9'' x 4'10''

About the Item

Not Ghouchan or Quchan Kurd, but likely an untrimmed saddle rug from an unidentified east Persian tribe. Stripes alternate in cream and near black, with uniform ribbon meanders. The octagonal section is beneath the rider and the other parts hang down to the left and right. Or maybe not. Medium weave. Good condition. Measures: 3'9'' x 4'10''.
