Vintage Heriz Rug 7'8'' x 11'
About the Item
Vintage Heriz rug. Measures: 7.8'' x 11'. Iconically Mehriban, with a soft red red ground supporting a plethora of fringed and flame-edged bitonal leaves in straw, cream, chocolate, palest blue and light teal blue. An ashik, herringbone leaf and stylized palmette centre organizes the whole. Rare navy border with serrated palmettes and rosettes-in-octagons. Slight end reduction, medium- coarse weave, cotton foundation. Overall good condition.
