Vintage Semi Antique Isfahan fine
About the Item
Isfahans, true, are not for everyone, but those who appreciate the intensity of their particular artform, very fine weave, great durability, and the beautiful feel, love living with them. They animate the right room and the panoply of colors, and dynamism of pattern in this piece, speak for themselves. Excellent condition, and on temporary price reduction.

Isfahan stands as one of the GREAT court carpet weaving centers along with Tabriz and Kerman and Nain, and to an extent, Mashad, and though not all of the contemporary output has seriously declined over the past 70 or so years, that which hasn’t is quite expensive.
With only moderate care this carpet will last more than 100 years, and makes a powerful statement at the entry of a house or apartment, ( its tough enough ) or any number of other positions. Equally in a spare modern setting, it brings life and light into the environment.
