Hand-knotted in wool, circa 1940-1950, this 11x13 vintage Oushak rug from Turkey is an exemplary piece from one of R&K Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal’s favorite weaving traditions, known for their regal, yet whimsical, more feminine designs. On the Design: This particular rug is exemplary in the soft colors, more informal floral patterns and unusual choices that Oushaks make.
