About the Item
Antique Aubusson Tapestry Cover Seat 2'5'' x 4'6''. This finely woven, flat, tapestry-woven, probably Aubusson or Beauvais, fragment was once the back of a settee and can easily be repurposed as a chair seat and back. The pale tan ground shows speciously set small flowers accented in pale green, goldenrod and ecru. Fairly good condition with the shaped edge rough and not secured.
