Drawing inspiration from Mario Buatta with romantic sensibility, this late 19th century antique English garden needlepoint runner beautifully embodies Baroque English Country Chintz style. The abrashed black field features four scalloped cartouche medallions with opulent frondescence surrounded by floral garlands and rose bouquets. It is enclosed with a trompe l'oeil filigree scroll border. Perfect for a hallway, long entry, grand foyer, designer entryway, galley kitchen, corridor, long stair landing, grand parlor, home office, private library, conservatory, wine cellar, executive suite, theater room, royal suite, executive suite, billiards room, game room, bedroom, study, studio, sitting room, sunroom or it would make a lovely accent next to a buffet in a dining room or behind the sofa table in the living room.
