About the Item
A good antique Georgian Regency desk library chair, circa 1820.
This very stylish chair is made from the finest solid Cuban mahogany, the chair has a substantial back splat support with a curved rail below, the chair having extravagant curved armrests. The front of the chair having an ogee shaped yolk, the elaborately ring-turned front legs are in contrast to the 'sabre' shaped rear legs. The chair has the original drop is seat and was recently recovered in a high quality fabric.
The chair is very comfortable and is in excellent period condition, the chair is robust and all the joints are tight, and will receive the most substantial of sitters. This fine and handsome antique chair is ready to grace your home or office.
