Continental 19th Century Biedermeier St. Fruitwood Armchair

About the Item

A handsome Continental 19th century Biedermeier st. Fruitwood and ebonized Fruitwood armchair. The armchair is raised by four gently curved square legs below the straight front apron which is flanked by circular ebonized Fruitwood accents. The rosette designed upholstered seat is finished with French nails. The square scrolled arms with additional ebonized Fruitwood accents on the hand rest are supported by a ebonized Fruitwood platforms. The arms connect to the midsection of the pierced backrest with both finished Fruitwood and ebonized Fruitwood designs.
