Late 19th Century George I Style Walnut Wingback Armchair

About the Item

A large 19th century wingback armchair in the George I style raised on a nicely worked walnut base with hairy paw feet and shell detail to the front legs. Newly upholstered by us in characterful antique European linen grain sacks hand dyed in blue using traditional methods. Visible seams and repairs throughout and an over stuffed feather seat pad. 87cm wide 95cm deep 117cm high 60cm seat height.
