Organic Elliptical Pair of Armchairs by Alexandre Rappoport, 1960
About the Item
A pair of armchairs with organic shape, a Danish inspiration with Brazilian wood. 1960.
Made by Alexandre Rappoport, a painter and furniture designer from Brazil, the armchair back and arm rest are sculptured in hardwood with elliptical shaped.
All the rungs of the chair are sophisticated rounded to create a soft and light design.
The seating is made of Cane, a traditional technic used in Brazil.
The pair of Armchair is great for a living room, desk or bedroom (seat-height; 41 cm). Although the backseat looks narrow it is confortable for a moment, the large width (63 cm) allowed to find the right position.
The wood has been renoveted and the cane is new, the chair is in perfect condition.
Unique design, sculpture's quality and Brazilian hardwood, a unique collector piece.
