Vintage Regency Black and Gold Iron Carule Bench with Upholstered Cream Seat
About the Item
A beautiful black and gold iron carule bench in the manner of Salterini. This sturdy Hollywood Regency bench will be a fabulous vanity seat or extra seat in a formal living. (We particularly love the idea of it next to a fireplace.) The top is upholstered in a cream diamond motif fabric box cushion with piping. The fabric is in fabulous vintage condition. If it were to be upholstered it would be great in Scalamandre's Le Tigre! (One of our favorites) On each side, a gold metal floral medallion decorates the piece in the center. The legs have matching gold ball feet on all four. The underside of the bench is reinforced with a pierced metal and is very sturdy.
