Colette Gueden Chair
About the Item
Chair by designer Colette Gueden (1905-2000) for Primavera in the 1950s (1954). The frame is in black lacquered metal and the seat is in white fabric. Signs of wear on the metal parts are to be noted (visible in the photos). Colette Gueden was a designer who studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and worked with architect Robert Mallet-Stevens. She is particularly known for her lighting designs and won the Luminaire Prize from the city of Paris for her innovative creations in 1954.
