Primitive Blue-Gray Painted Swedish Round-Back Chair

About the Item

Primitive blue-gray painted Swedish round-back chair circa 1770-1789. Remnants of original or early blue-gray, green and salmon pink painted decoration. Heavy, thick single board seat. Very sturdy and stable despite some warping from centuries of wear and use. Chairs such as these were often made to serve as work stools.
