Vincent van Duysen once referred to books as the “protagonists” of each space in his home. This simple idea — the intentionality of living in a space with almost everything hidden except for books, inspired The Shelf Daybed. The Shelf Daybed creates space for the protagonists of the room, maintains low sight lines and its modular cushions can be used for different seating arrangements.
