About the Item
A set of six dining chairs by Design Institute of America, 1980s (DIA). Possibly by Milo Baughman- he designed a lot for DIA.
Burnished brass finish, with scroll back and gilt brass art deco style roundels. Two carvers, four regular chairs. Labelled underneath seats.
They have a Regency influence in their design, also a touch of Art Deco machine age.
The red striped upholstery is in great condition.
