Howard Keith Original Barbican Modular Corner Sofa HK London Mid Century Vintage Retro

A rare and beautiful original 1970s Howard Keith Barbican 6 seater orange modular corner sofa with footstool, cushions and arm trays.
This amazing and desirable sofa is covered in its original orange pin striped velour fabric upholstery which has been professionally deep cleaned and restored to perfect condition.
Each modular unit sit on wooden plinths with castors and can seat up to 6 people.
Each modular has a height of 80cm, depth of 100cm and a seat height of 40cm.
The widths are:-
1 x 2 Seat Right Arm End - 130cm
1 x 2 Seat Left Arm End - 130cm
1 x 1 Seat Modular - 66cm
1 x 1 Seat Modular Corner - 100 x 100cm
1 x Footstool - 60 x 96cm
It’s even rarer to find a Howard Keith sofa set which comes with a matching footstool, original small throw cushions and two acrylic arm trays which this set comes with.
Complete with stamps and labels.
Howard Keith Furniture or HK Furniture as it is now known has had a glorious history in British furniture design and manufacture since the 1940's when it was founded, having supplied into top department stores like Heals and Liberty's of London.
Royal patrons such as Princess Margaret, celebrities and pop stars, embassies and exclusive hotels, and even the QE2 all took their delivery of Howard Keith furniture during the 60s, 70s and 80s.
