Mid-Century Norwegian Sofa by LH HIELLE
About the Item
Mid-century sofa designed by LH HIELLE, Norway. This sofa is unique in design with a traditionally mid-century boxy front profile, yet has subtle curves and soft lines along the armrests and back. The side profile is vaguely reminiscent of the Pearsall Cloud sofa. Newly reupholstered in a neutral textured fabric that has hints of silver and lilac. We chose a fabric to update the sofa for the modern home while trying to uphold the Scandinavian aesthetic. New foam bottom cushion provides ample support with three new down pillow cushions aligning the back. The down rectangular pillows provide extra comfort and correlate well with the curvatures of the sofa. The sofa sits on four teak rounded legs and is in fantastic vintage condition.
