1980s Kai Pedersen Studio Craft Counter stools Ash Cherry - a pair
About the Item
A pair of 1980s counter height stools by Kai Pedersen. Sculpted seats of solid cherry on three ash legs. Designed and made at Kai Pedersen Studios in 1991. Handcrafted by Kai Pedersen near new hope Pennsylvania. Sculpted seats, bent plywood backs, and wedged through tenon joinery showcase the craftsmanship of Kai Pedersen. Reminiscent of Wharton Esherick's work.
Condition: Refinished within the last decade. Some deeper scratches to the seats from pant buttons. Both pieces are signed.
