About the Item
Contemporary bar stool in Brazilian hardwood and cord.
We named this chair "Natural". A friendly approach to a piece of furniture that evades constructive standards. "Natural" comes in the sense of pure, raw, simple. Ricardo Graham Ferreira
Woodworking arrived as a joyful activity to the life of this Brazilian artist, born in Rio de Janeiro.
After graduating in Marketing and working with it, Ricardo Graham Ferreira made an important decision in his life and gave him self a chance to learn what he has loved since a little kid: woodworking. In 2002 Ricardo went to Italy. More precisely to the Brianza region. And there stayed for 3 years learning "ebanisteria" in Meda, "the city of furniture making". After that went to the south of France where he obtained a higher degree in woodworking, after one year attending the École Supérieure d'Ébénisterie d’Avignon, a prestigious school located in Provence. His workshop, known as “oEbanista”, was established in 2006, and it's located at Nova Friburgo, a city found on the green mountains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the beginning Ricardo's works were only made by commission, for direct costumers; but it took new directions as his pieces gained prominence in reputable events, prizes and national and international publications.
Regular production is on freijó wood ( or brazilian oak ) and we have the ebonized version ( please ask for price for this specific finish).
By request, we can be produced this piece in other beautiful tropical wood types. Please, ask for quote. Notice that price and production lead time may rise.
