Mid Century Modern Barrister style display cabinet by Nucraft out of Grand Rapids Michigan. Features a walnut construction with glass sliding drawers over round tapered brass capped legs
Nucraft Furniture Company was founded in 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan by George William Schad and B. E.. The company's first products were walnut letter trays, wastebaskets, and costumers, which were sold through Stow & Davis dealers. In the 1960s and 1970s, George Jr., George's son, led the company and expanded into occasional tables, bookcases, and desks. In 1979, Tim Schad joined his father, George Jr., in business and made the decision to expand into a complete set of products to furnish conference rooms.
