19th century English Hepplewhite Mahogany Bow Front Sideboard Server
About the Item
This handsome neoclassic mahogany bow front sideboard features extraordinary satinwood, rosewood and fruitwood inlay. Sitting upon six square tapering straight legs that end in spade feet, the four in front are decorated with inlaid bell flower swags. The two doors feature floral wreaths with bows and the middle drawer is adorned with bell flower and ribbon swags. Serpentine vine inlay prevails throughout. One of the doors is for decanters and has a plug in the bottom for drainage-see last image. Probably original brass pulls.
