Late Qing Dynasty red lacquer Storage Chest or sideboard. Made in Shanxi North Eastern China, circa 1880s. Features a simple rectangular frame with two doors at the center flanked by round carved medallions and panels. Lower apron has carved motifs. Made using mortise and tenon construction. A stately piece for any space.
