Spanish Bargueño Cabinet 17th Century

About the Item

Spanish Bargueño Cabinet 17th Century Walnut wood, solid and veneered, as well as partially ebonized and with rich engraved ivory inlays. Inclined and multi-jointed balusters as supports for the rectangular deck, joined below by strongly curved volute iron crossbars. Extendable supports with fully sculpted lion heads as a display for the front, smoothly veneered and hinged. Behind, stepped compartmentation formed by several drawers of different sizes, as well as central portal architecture with an engraved crucifixion scene and two corresponding drawers with representations of saints. Traces of age and additions. H 138.5 cm. 131cm x 42cm. CITES certificate available. Provenance: German private collection Original condition
