Late 17th or Early 18th Century Walnut Bambocci Commode

About the Item

Impressive Carved Walnut Bambocci Commode of small scale Unusual configuration of four long drawers. Panelled sides with deep moulding. Intricate Bambocci figure head handles on three drawers and the putti to each side are beautifully carved, standing on statement griffon or lion paw feet. The patina and colour is warm and lustrous. Historical paper interior linings Walnut Genoa, Italy Circa 1700.
