19th Century French Provincial Cherrywood Kitchen Cupboard

About the Item

French cherrywood kitchen cupboard/vasselier, c. 1860-1880. Handsomely carved with double drawers above cabinet doors featuring iron fiche hinges. Both drawers feature original iron pulls and matching iron escutcheons on each door. The scallop shell motif on the bottom apron draw attention down to balance the decoration of whatever will be displayed on the upper shelves. This piece is in Excellent shape considering its age. It show slight signs of age and wood worm marking (wood worms are long gone). We include a light restoration and waxing included upon purchase and before shipping.
