Antique Pine Entertainment Cabinet

About the Item

This honey-colored pine armoire or linen press is in two sections -- upper and lower cabinet, four doors with recessed panels. The armoire was later made into an entertainment unit / cabinet. Upper cabinet features a swivel TV shelf. Both upper and lower cabinets also features adjustable shelving making it perfect for clothes or linens in a bedroom or bath, or as a pantry in a kitchen. We can convert to your specifications for a small charge. Measurement: Top - D 29.50" x W 61" x H 46" Bottom- D 28" x W 58" x H 31.25". Max upper interior space if side and top pieces are removed: 43"h x 45.5"w

Thus, on antique armoires from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, we often see artistic embellishments and luxurious details. Antique French armoires often have Rococo or Gothic carvings, mirrored doors and naturalistic carvings. These feminine elements on antique French armoires demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship and artistry afforded only by the rich.
