Arts and Crafts Iron & Glass Display Table / Drinks Cabinet Attr. Hugo Berger

About the Item

Table display cabinet. For the collectors of rare Arts and Crafts antiques. When we first saw this cabinet, we immediately were convinced that it could have only been designed and hand-crafted by Goberg. Even though this work of art(s and crafts) cabinet is not stamped with the Goberg maker's mark, there is no doubt in our minds that this can only be the work of Hugo Berger himself. This perfectly designed and all handcrafted masterpiece of wrought iron and glass is unlike any drinks cabinet you have ever seen and that is exactly what you look for when creating a truly unique and personalized interior. For us to have found this great looking, industrial workmanship cabinet AND display table into one again felt like a blessing. To have found it in near mint condition, made this 'find' even more rewarding. Mind you, this unique cabinet is the kind of piece that could very well end-up in a museum one day. For it is truly unique, important for the era (and by one of the known makers), great looking and in the best condition possible. Because of the original and thick ribbed glass, the interior of this cabinet is slightly obscured, which is exactly what the designer intended. Finally, this gem of a cabinet is as strong and stable as the day it was handcrafted and it is absolutely ready for you to use and enjoy. If you appreciate this industrial Arts and Crafts 'cabinet stand' as much as we do then you will love our price. Especially when taken into account that perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 workdays are complimentary. Maximum height x width x depth: 31.7 x 21.75 x 11.4 inches. Width of the top without the forged handles: 17.8 inches. Inside height x width x depth: 14.3 x 11.1 x 7.2 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again). You can shop all our 1000+ listings by pushing the button that reads 'View All From Seller'.
