Chinese Ming Style Red Lacquer Sideboard Cabinet

About the Item

A Chinese Ming Dynasty style altar cabinet with original red lacquer, with natural age-related patina. The cabinet features a rectangular top with everted flanges, sitting above a façade presenting a pair of double doors fitted with a traditional round medallion lock. The doors open to reveal inner shelves. Created in the Shanxi Province, China, approximate 1860-1880. Measures: Height to top: 88 cm. Height to top of flanges: 93 cm.
