Early 20th Century French Rouge Painted Bar Cart with Gilt Chinoiserie Motifs
About the Item
Created in France circa 1920 and rectangular in shape, the cart stands on large front wheels and is painted in red with gilt accents; the piece features decorative chinoiserie embellishments with hand painted Chinese figures, tree and leaf decor. The table has two shelves including a removable glass tray with handles on the top deck. The rouge bar cart is in excellent condition with rich palette of colors and would make a beautiful, utilitarian addition to a living room or dining room to serve tea or desert.
